Testing & Quality

What we test, and what we tell you about it

PeptUptides supplies research-grade peptides, blends and laboratory consumables to laboratories and independent researchers. There are 62 items in the catalog. Every one of them is released against a purity specification and identified by a lot number, and every claim on this page is one we are willing to be held to in writing.

How material is released

HPLC purity analysis

Purity is determined by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. The material is separated on a column, the eluate is monitored by UV absorbance, and purity is reported as the area of the main peak expressed as a percentage of the total integrated peak area. Identity is confirmed separately by mass spectrometry against the expected molecular weight. Material is released against a 99%+ purity specification.

Lot-matched certificates

Testing is per lot, not per product. Every manufactured batch is assigned a lot number that stays with the vial through fill, labeling and shipment, and any certificate is issued against that number rather than against the catalog listing. Certificate documents are not hosted on this site; a certificate for a specific lot is available on request.

Cold-chain handling

Compounds are supplied lyophilized, which is materially more stable than the same peptide in solution, and are held and shipped under temperature control regardless. Repeated thermal excursion degrades lyophilized material over time, so the handling standard is applied from storage through to delivery rather than only in transit.

Discreet packaging

Orders ship in unbranded outer packaging. The exterior carries no compound name and no brand mark. Vials are labeled with the compound, the strength and the lot number so the material on your bench can always be identified against the register.

What we do not claim

A quality page is only as useful as the things it refuses to overstate. These are the gaps, stated plainly, so you can decide whether the material suits your work.

  • We do not name the laboratory that performs release testing on this page, and we publish no accreditation number. If a specific accreditation matters to your procurement process, ask before ordering rather than inferring it from this page.

  • No certificate document is hosted anywhere on this site. Nothing in the COA Library is downloadable, and no test date is displayed for any lot.

  • The purity figure shown against a catalog item is the release specification the compound is held to, not a measured value for the individual lot you will receive. That value belongs on the lot's certificate.

  • No compound in this catalog is described here by what it does in a person. Listings state what a compound is and what the published literature has examined, in past tense and third person.
